The Livaeco GlobalSpa Fit & Fab Show 2021 was a grand celebration of wellness, sustainability and glamour – with Mumbai’s most influential fitness icons being recognized for their commitment to holistic health and well-being. The fourth edition of The GlobalSpa Fit & Fab Show witnessed achievers and industry leaders who practice and preach the gospel of fitness – including Shilpa Shetty, Mahesh Bhupathi, and Raveena Tandon – being awarded amidst a glittering gathering of wellness enthusiasts.
The Fit & Fab Show is a wellness festival that promotes a healthy and conscious lifestyle, with the participation of prominent personalities who are known for their contributions to India’s fitness landscape and their efforts towards spreading the wellness philosophy that is at the core of GlobalSpa’s ethos. The people recognized at the gala are carefully selected by experts from the fields of nutrition, fitness, health, wellness and technology – based on their fitness quotient, lifestyle, and journey.
This year, the ceremony was hosted by the scintillating Sophie Choudry, who has also been a winner of The GlobalSpa Fit & Fab Award, and Nitinn Miranni – who kept the audience’s spirits light throughout the evening.
In addition to the felicitation of inspiring fitness stalwarts, the event was marked by the launch of the GlobalSpa December 2021 edition, in the sparkling presence of our radiant cover star and Fit & Fab winner, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar. GlobalSpa’s latest issue, dedicated to moving back to basics in the pursuit of health, highlights traditions and practices that prioritise individual wellness as well as the collective well-being of our planet.

The awards were graciously presented to the winners by our esteemed jury members, event partners and a host of prominent personalities including Yasmeen Karachiwala, Anshuka Parwani, Dr. Neetika Modi, Dr. Madhu Chopra and Captain Zoya Sapra Agarwal.
Another highlight of the evening was a spectacular showcase of fashionable garments crafted with the soft and versatile Livaeco fabric, by ace designer Gabriella Demetriades. With the resounding thumps of drums and atmospherics that evoked tropical flora, the show offered an immersive experience to observers and underlined how sustainable apparel can be fashion-forward and contemporary too. The display featured vibrant colours in modern silhouettes, crafted with the Livaeco fabric which is responsibly derived from nature and manufactured through a stringent eco-friendly process.
The evening put a spotlight on some of the most pertinent themes that have dominated the cultural discourse in recent years – holistic wellness, mindful fitness, and environmental sustainability.
